Solitaire Strategies for Better Decisions
Solitaire strategy is mostly decision-making under incomplete information. The best move is often the one that improves your next set of choices.
Beginner strategy
Start by looking for moves that uncover hidden cards. Keep the tableau organized and avoid consuming useful sequences without a reason.
Intermediate strategy
Compare the value of revealing a hidden card against the value of moving a visible sequence. Consider which move gives you more destinations later.
Advanced thinking
Track unavailable ranks and colors. If a needed card is buried, avoid moves that permanently reduce your ability to reach it.
Foundation timing
Foundation moves simplify the game, but tableau mobility can sometimes be more valuable in the short term. Think about both immediate progress and future access.
